Teaching is one of the noblest professions in the world. The baseline of this profession is to shape up the lives of their students. The teachers carry a great responsibility on their shoulders of creating civilized people for the world. Initial formative years of every individual’s life are very crucial. Guiding correctly and channelizing energies as well as thinking process is very much important. Teachers, though they come only second to the mothers as life shapers, are equipped with knowledge in giving formal education to their pupils. It is very important to have basic knowledge of each and every subject like language, mathematic, history and geography. This knowledge is useful in professional life of an individual. Teachers are trained and are aware of methods of teaching, identifying relevant topics for appropriate age groups and so on. Accordingly they pick up topics and create text books for studies. They also apply various innovative methods for making learning more fun. Earlier the studies were kind of passive. Teachers had the authority to narrate a topic and the students were only required to listen carefully and understand the topic. But now teachers involve students equally in this process. The students can raise doubts. The atmosphere in the classroom resembles to that of symposium, the most informal methods of learning in Roman civilization.
